Can we call them terrorists although they are’nt Moslems?

1- The Nazis and the Holocaust against the Jews was done by Hitler and the 60,000,000 German ROMAN CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN Nazis who followed him and died for his cause and ideas. The Nazis were not Muslims.

2- The Serbs in Yoguslavia and their massacures for more than 1,000,000 Muslims in Bosnia and lately in Kosovo. The Yoguslavian Serbs are 12,000,000 and they are GREEK ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS.

3- The massacures that happened in the Great land of United States of America against the Native Americans. More than 95% of the Native American population were massacures. They were literally shot everywhere they were found!. Ask any US History teacher and he would shed some light upon you regarding this subject. More than 90% of Americans are considered CHRISTIANS.

4- The Oklahoma City bombing happened by the CHRISTIAN CULTS group.

5- The use of "Uranium Bombs" by the American troops during the Gulf War against the Iraqi Civilians in Southern Iraq that infected thousands of civilians with the Uranium Radiation. I saw with my own eyes on the Arabic Satalite TV Channel (Al-Jazeerah) how Iraqi babies are born today with Uranium infections. If you see their pictures, you would cry. Their faces look like they had been burnt. Several infected American and German and British Soldiers who were near Southern Iraq were herrased by their governments when they tried to speak up against the Barbaraic attack against the Iraqi civilians by the US forces, and the Western Media until today is rediculously trying to cover up for this BARBARAIC attack on civilians who did not have nor use the Uranium Bomb, which is equivelant to a small Atomic Bomb.

6- The latest Israeli massacures against unarmed Palestinian Civilians.

Today's terrorists are tomorrows heroes. Just take a peek at South Africa's political history..

Aren't you teasing us with your claims? Germany never counted 60 million Catholics or Nazi's. 'Christians' are to my understanding 16th century Protestants of which but certain factions entertain the (fundamental) "Jesus Christ" cult. Most of those found in the USA and Northern Europe. Have you really counted all those Serbs and Kosovars? It in a sense reminds me of some interpretations of the Jewish Holocaust claiming more deaths than there were Jews on the planet. Anyway, what is the point you are making or try to make? I have most certainly NOT the impression that today's terrorists are tomorrow's heroes. What and above all who do you mean with 'terrorists' anyway? Is a genuine freedom fighter a 'terrorist'. Is somebody who wants foreign armies out of his country a 'terrorist'? In that case all brave and respected people who resisted the Nazi's about 1939-45, or some black intellectuals in SA (as Aadil says) fighting 'Apartheid' or even Nigerians fighting against foreign powers who try to steal their resources, they all would be 'terrorists'.I am at a loss on that one.. čśą

An interesting discussion. The irony is that 7 years ago, shortly after I joined the OCI chanced upon a vitriolic, let me be kind and say "impassioned"tirade against islam, by a blogger who went into great depth and length.I spent some time researching his assertions and it seemed to me he looked at History through different eyes than mine. I guess you might say his perspective was very different from mine. I wondered if he had ever researched the 'facts' he was espousing because I was able to write back with a very detailed account of "cause & effect" and causation. I touched upon the very same point that has been mentioned here apropos "Today's terrorists are tomorrows heroes".Now, most of the time… I would say practically 99.999% of the time, I desist from getting into extreme discussions or 'debates'.. because in my experience – during my long(ish) lifetime there are very few people who are entirely neutral about anything and since that condition is part and parcel of our Human Nature it is often pointless getting into arguments that involve at least one side, perhaps more, 'ranting' on and not making room for other views. But as I write that… Read more »

Yes, John, I see your point. I agree that bias, but also polite 'over-prudence' contribute to meaningless discussions (discutare – cutting a topic apart to uncover and assess its details; not to hide some details). I think that Danbuze came with a very 'hot' and meaningful question, confronting us with the intriguing and controversial concept of 'terrorism', i.e. in a malign way frightening people. His hyperbole of the meaning by exaggerating data to make his point is a clever way to achieve awareness of the underlying fundamental problem. The word 'terror…' itself is in its implied meaning -as you as a writer very well know- as vague as the words "love", "weather" or "traffic". Aadil (Mad Scientist) made the point that 'terrorism' through the eyes of a SA citizen can have either a black or white face, depending on which side you are. Indeed, his once 'terrorists' could become 'heroes' later. In Spain the word 'terrorist' has a quite different public appeal than in the USA, so it has in Germany or Pakistan. When that word isn't well-defined beforehand, I agree that a discussion could end in a polemic instead, or your 'ranting'. :coffee: :coffee:

You can disguise your self and say whatever you want to say. Why are you afraid of disclosing your identity bloody coward. Moslem and their likes are problem we are facing to day in nigeria and world at large. Why should you promote vices like terrorism. The heroes of south africa today were terrorist yester years your statement is tantamount to say " be a terrorist or boko haram today and be acknowledge as a heroe tomorrow
